Thai Airways Reduces Second Quarter Loss

Thai Airways International reported a smaller net loss in the second quarter, on lower jet fuel costs.

Thai made a net loss of THB2.92 billion baht for the second quarter, down from a THB12.76 billion loss in the same period last year.

Revenue for the period was THB41.2 billion, down 1.3 percent from the previous year.

Thai is into the second phase of a transformation plan to return it to a position of sustained profitability.
