On Watch: SAA privatisation collapses, Pacific Airlines suspends operations

South African Airways is currently seeking a new strategic partner following the termination of its planned semi-privatisation deal with Takatso after three years of discussions. According to the South African government, the carrier currently has enough funds to keep operations running for up to 18 months.
