Guggenheim Partners sold its commercial aviation division – Guggenheim Aviation Partners – to the management team of the leasing company, which will operate the company under the new name of Altavair with Steve Rimmer as CEO. Since its inception GAP has completed over $8 billion in commercial aircraft transactions, managed more than 200 commercial aircraft, and leased aircraft to over 40 domestic and international airlines and cargo operators. more
