Alt lenders margins continue to tighten in Q1, HCOB exits aviation finance

Financiers confirm that risk-adjusted margins for alt lenders have continued to fall in the first quarter of 2025. In other news, Germany’s Hamburg Commercial Bank (HCOB) is exiting aviation finance, less than 18 months after launching the business, following an internal strategic review.
