Don't underestimate the impact of IFRS 16 on airline balance sheets

In January a new accounting standard, IFRS 16, which puts operating leases on an airline’s balance sheet came into effect. Colin Sach, an aviation corporate finance adviser asks how the new accounting standard could impact airline fleet management.
